“ Another great dining option in Surrey for late night foodies! Major Joy Chicken offers Indian style fried chicken with amazing flavours and really tasty chicken sandwiches! I ordered the chicken sandwhich / butter chicken poutine combo. Butter chicken poutine was absolutely delicious. It was probably one of the best butter gravies I've had on fries...most butter chicken poutine I've had before were quite salty. This gravy is creamy and sweet which goes perfect with fries! The chicken sandwich I ordered was also quite tasty, I ordered the smokey tandoori and it just hit the spot for me. The chicken was crispy and the portion was really good. Atmosphere of the restaurant was really nice as well. Great lighting, comfy seating, modern and lots of space. The only con I would say is the mens washroom was a bit cluttered, dirty and also paper towels needed a refill, but we ate here close to 1am so it was probably less staff than usual. Overall this is a really cool spot in Surrey for some delicious Indian style KFC that closes at 5am on Friday/Saturdays. ——— *UPDATE* ——— I brought more friends over to Major Joy to try out this amazing place. Service was top notch and the food was still as fresh and delicious as ever!! I have included some updated photos! I also got to try out their Real Mango Shake for the first time and it was absolutely delicious - with real mango chunks! We were even given a free Red Velvet Cake to try out! Thank you so much to the friendly staff at Major Joy! ”

“ Excellent service. This was my first time. She reviewed the menu options and made recommendations. The food was great. My first time having poutine (visiting Canada for the first time), so I don't have a frame of reference, but it was good. The employee running the register was friendly and inviting. I went valued as a customer. If I am in the area again, I wouldn't hesitate to stop by again. No negative aspects of my experience. ”

“ I came here for the first time today because of the reviews and it was open late. I ordered the Jamaican jerk thigh burger and creamy pasta on the side. Everything was really good. The pasta didn't seem like out of a box and the chicken burger was pretty big. All added with a can of coke was under 14.50 including tax. I highly recommend this place and will return to try other things. They are open much later than most places which is a bonus. ”

“ I was here for the first time with my wife on April 15th around 3:30pm. I personally had a great experience here. The woman cashier taking our order had really good customer service. She took the time to educate us on all of the popular menu items and also offered her recommendations. Our beef cheese burgers were fresh, hot and yummy. The spicy fries had a unique tasty flavor that was surprisingly not too salty either. Overall, a great experience and the fact that everything is Halal is the ultimate icing on top. We're looking forward to our next visit here. ”

“ Tenders are crunchy and juicy. I have a low spice tolerance and I found the Nashville Hot to taste seasoned but not spicy. Major Hot meanwhile was too spicy lol When I was there, another customer came in and raved to the cashier about how delicious the Monster Burger was. Haven’t tried it yet but I’m now eager. ”

“ This has been on my bucket list for a while now. I always drive by it and have had it saved on google. Finally had a chance to go in. Time is around 8:30pm Tuesday night. I was the only one in there and Abhi was at the front. He explained the menu and gave his suggestions on his favourites. I got the 3pc tandoori, major hot and Nashville hot. Food was made to order which was appreciated as most fried chicken places fried in batches. It smoking hot. The crisp on chicken was crispband crunchy and thr blend of the individual spices gage it a nice punch of flavour. Abhi gave me all the sauces on the house and an additional piece of chicken too. Service alone was a great experience in itself along with the good food. I was offered a cake but I'm not a sweets person so I declined. Awesome place overall ”
